The week starts with Falmouth Classics on Saturday 11th August. With a fleet of over 150 of our favourite "oldies" this event is a spectacular sight for both the competitors and the many spectators who throng both Pendennis and St Mawes Castles to watch the racing.
A vast choice of events including art, craft, drama, literature, food, gardens, music and watersports, both on and off the water all around the Fal Estuary.
Various shanty groups from across the country will perform at venues along the waterfront and in the local pubs.
The annual exhibition of work by students graduating from the College's degrees in art, design and media.
Annual regatta for traditional boats ranging from 6ft - 60ft.
Racing for all types of craft from the small dinghy to the high-performance racing machine, supported by a full daytime and evening social programme including a fireworks spectacular!
Timed to coincide with the start of the oyster harvesting season, this annual festival celebrates one of the last remaining oyster fisheries to dredge under sail & oar. Festival includes cookery demonstrations, oyster tasting, local craft and produce markets and working boat races.
Cornwall's fourth Film Festival will take place in Falmouth. Dates and programme will be posted on the festival website.
